CCU PowerStudio is a software developed by Dr. Shengli Huang to conduct electrical power distribution planning analysis, studies, computing, research, and visualization etc. The project took more than three years to come into shape, but is still ongoing. So at this stage, it is still like a newborn which has various areas to improve. The ultimate goal of this project is to create an accurate, powerful, flexible, user-friendly tool to help electrical power utilities, distribution planning engineers, researchers with varieties of analysis and studies on electrical power distribution. So far it comes with the following functionalities, but more are coming when partnering with electrical power utilities.

Here, Dr. Shengli Huang would like to sincerely thank Mr. Xiaoxin Zhou, an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, for teaching and guiding on modelling electrical power system devices for dynamic simulations during his pursuing Ph.D. The experience and knowledge, which he gained under Mr. Zhou’s guidance to model Time-Varying dynamical Phasors for different devices and make codings to simulate power system dynamics, tremendously help this project.
