The Host Capacity Analysis Module has the following features:
1. Examine the Settings of Host Capacity Analysis: The user can start a Host Capacity Analysis from its setting, ensure some criteria is
appropriate for the user needs, such as reverse power on switch and regulators, conductor current limits and voltage threshold. These setting could largely change
host compacity results. So far Host Capacity is computed on only 3-phase nodes, but 1 or 2-phase lateral can be added later if need.
2. Set Up an Host Capacity Analysis Case: The users can create a Host Capacity Analysis case by selecting the feeder and if it needs load allocation. If load allocation is needed, the user can provide load allocation value. The user also has the option to choose some loads not to participate load allocation.
3. Review Host Capacity Analysis Result on Map: After a Host Capacity Analysis case is completed, its results are plotted on a heat map. The different color among feeder path indicates specific host compacity value. The user can zoom in/out to see the host compacity value on a particular node. The below is the IEEE-8500-Node-Test-Feeder modified for Host Capacity Analysis, which was only conducted on the 3-phase nodes while 1 or 2-phase lateral were ignored.
